Privacy policy

Attendo is an attendance product of IQLEXA Technologies Private Limited (905, Gera Imperium Alpha, Kharadi, Pune 411014, India). This policy covers the Attendo mobile apps (Android and iOS), the web admin at app.attendo.works, and the API at api.attendo.works. Contact: contact@iqlexa.com.

Who this is for

Companies (customers) create workspaces and invite employees. Employees do not create a public account. The customer is the controller of employee records; IQLEXA processes that data to provide the service.

What we collect

• Account. Name, work email, role, employee id, and the company workspace you belong to.
• Face signature. The app takes photos on the phone to compute a numeric face embedding. Photos stay on the device and are not uploaded. Only the embedding is stored on our servers so we can match you at check-in. An admin can reset it.
• Location. Precise location at check-in and check-out to confirm you are inside an office or site geofence. During a field trip you start, the app records your route until you end the trip.
• Device id. A random id created on first launch, kept in the phone's secure store, so a new device can be flagged for review.
• Attendance, leave and timesheets. Check-in events, leave requests, project hours, and related reasons you type.
• Billing (web only). Subscription and payment are handled by Razorpay. We do not store full card numbers.

How we use it

To run attendance, leave, timesheets, field tracking and payroll exports for your company; to secure accounts; to send transactional email; and to operate and improve the service. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

Sharing

Data stays in your company workspace. Hosting, email and payment processors act as our processors. We disclose information if required by law. If you connect payroll tools (for example Zoho Payroll), attendance summaries are sent to that tool under your admin's configuration.

Retention

We keep workspace data while the company account is active, then as required for legal and payroll records. Face embeddings are deleted when an admin resets enrolment or the user is removed. You can ask your company admin or write to contact@iqlexa.com for access, correction or deletion.

Permissions the app asks for

• Camera — face enrolment and check-in. Photos are not uploaded.
• Location (while using, and always only during a trip you start) — geofence and field routes.
• Notifications — trip tracking status on Android.

Children

Attendo is a workplace product. It is not directed at children under 13.
